From 25 October to 1 November 2026, and again from 14 to 28 March 2027, the UK is on standard time while the US is not. London then runs 13:00 to 22:00 PKT and New York 17:00 to 02:00, so the overlap stretches to 5 h: 17:00 to 22:00 PKT.

Not every broker does this: some servers run on UTC or on their own city's time. Compare the Market Watch clock with PKT once and note the gap.

At 17:00 PKT while the US is on summer time, from the second Sunday of March to the first Sunday of November, and at 18:00 PKT in the US winter. It closes after midnight, at 02:00 or 03:00 PKT.
When Is the London Session in Pakistan Time?
It runs 12:00 to 21:00 PKT while the UK is on summer time and 13:00 to 22:00 in the UK's winter. London and New York are open together 17:00 to 21:00 PKT in summer, 18:00 to 22:00 in winter, and 17:00 to 22:00 in the out-of-step weeks, 25 October to 1 November 2026 and 14 to 28 March 2027.
Does Pakistan Change Its Clocks?
Not since November 2009, when it went back from summer time to UTC+5, by the IANA time zone database. The sessions still move in PKT twice a year, because London, New York and Sydney change their own clocks.
What Time Does the Market Open on Monday in Pakistan?
The week opens at 17:00 on Sunday in New York, which is 02:00 PKT on Monday while New York is on summer time and 03:00 in its winter. It closes at 02:00 or 03:00 PKT on Saturday. Brokers open their servers close to those times, not always exactly at them.
